The report adds that Miami will be able to express versatility when it comes to adding Nacho to their ranks this summer. He is available as a TAM player, with a salary of $1.5m — under the threshold. They also have the ability to make him a DP by buying down the contract of Leonardo Campana, if needed.
Nacho's family is reportedly in favor of the move, as well, with the climate of Miami factoring into the decision.
Nacho would be the fifth ex-La Liga player with the Herons, joining Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez in South Beach.
The captain will lead Real Madrid into the UEFA Champions League Final on June 1 as he looks to lift one more piece of silverware with his longtime club.
A potential move to MLS, however, looms in the back of his mind.
